In August 2025, China’s tungsten product export volume was 1,802.00 tons, increased by 6.46% month-on-month. Among these, tungsten powder exports were 143.12 tons, decreased by 14.55% month-on-month; tungstic acid exports were 50 kilograms, decreased by 99.88% month-on-month; tungsten carbide exports were 357.65 tons, decreased by 2.62% month-on-month; tungsten trioxide exports were 260.59 tons, increased by 86.13% month-on-month; and ammonium paratungstate exports were 9,000 kilograms, decreased by 78.05% month-on-month.

In August 2025, China’s tungsten product imports were 2,365.07 tons, decreased by 2.23% month-on-month. Among these, tungsten powder imports were 728 kilograms, decreased by 55.74% month-on-month; tungsten wire imports were 605 kilograms, increased by 35.04% month-on-month; sodium tungstate imports were 132.13 tons, decreased by 32.72% month-on-month; tungsten hexafluoride imports were 36.54 tons, increased by 15.70% month-on-month; and tungsten trioxide imports were 6,548 kilograms, increased by 3,094.15% month-on-month.

In August 2025, China’s molybdenum product export volume was 2,304.72 tons, decreased by 42.87% year-on-year. Among these, ferromolybdenum exports were 462.80 tons, decreased by 9.61% year-on-year; molybdenum powder exports were 62.25 tons, increased by 77.66% year-on-year; molybdenum wire exports were 25.17 tons, decreased by 23.31% year-on-year; ammonium molybdate exports were 18.23 tons, decreased by 57.64% year-on-year; and other molybdenum product exports were 48.43 tons, increased by 227.06% year-on-year.

In August 2025, China’s molybdenum product import volume was 6,138.71 tons, increased by 1.98% year-on-year. Among these, ammonium molybdate imports were 3.03 tons, decreased by 98.20% year-on-year; ferromolybdenum imports were 717.90 tons, increased by 8.71% year-on-year; molybdenum powder imports were 201.00 kilograms, decreased by 83.70% year-on-year; molybdenum wire imports were 5.85 tons, increased by 13.05% year-on-year; and other molybdenum product imports were 1.69 tons, increased by 23.57% year-on-year.
